Grace Hopper was a true pioneer whose curiosity and determination helped shape the future of computing. Her work opened doors for generations of people in technology, and her legacy continues to inspire those who believe in solving problems, challenging assumptions, and building what comes next. She will always be remembered for the impact she made on both technology and the people who followed her path.

I had the chance to hear Admiral Hopper speak when I was in graduate school. She was sharp, funny, and completely unwilling to accept "that's how it's always been done" as an answer. That attitude shaped my whole career.

Her work on the compiler changed what programming even meant. I use tools built on ideas she pioneered every single day at work, and I think of her whenever someone says a piece of code has a "bug."
